This is the historic
“Pink’Un” cottage (East Bay Street ,
Nassau, Bahamas
Patricia Glinton-Meicholas,
described on her website as “author, cultural critic and historian” and
her husband artist/photographer Neko Meicholas used to run their
publishing company Guanima Press from the “Pink’Un”, where I once visited them.
“Patty”, as I know her, is famous for her book “How To Be a True-True Bahamian
(The Island Life)” (among others), which I loved and still have a copy of.
I first met the award-winning
Patty, along with Joan Albury, at their marketing communications agency The
Counsellors Ltd when I did some freelance writing for them.
