NEW REGENCY MYSTERY ROMANCE RELEASED!

I’ve just finished reading Bahamian bestselling author Paul Bethel’s latest Regency novel “The Whispering Tongues”, full of scandal, romance, mystery and murder! The U.K. publishers Joffe Books sent me an advanced reader copy and I also preordered it on Amazon because I liked it so much! Paul writes his Regency novels under the pseudonym Beth Andrews.

The Whispering Tongues is Book Three in the Beth Andrews Sussex Regency Romance Series. It became a #1 Best Seller as soon as it was released today by Joffe!

I thoroughly enjoyed it, like I did Books One and Two and several of his other books! The Kindle version is available now at the special launch price of just £0.99 | $0.99.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY BAHAMAS 2022

So good to be back in Starbucks, Baha Mar! It’s been a long haul.

It’s Remembrance Sunday here in The Bahamas. Fondly remembering my late parents who served in World War Two – Josephine Johanson, Women’s Royal Air Force, and William Johanson, Royal Australian Air Force.

Erskine and I also had a fast walk all around Baha Mar. It’s been over two years since we were last able to do this. Felt great!

TROPICAL STORM NICOLE TO BECOME A HURRICANE IN THE BAHAMAS

It may look like bliss in this photo, but when I tried to get closer to the beach to get a better shot, I was driven back with the wind and rain. I nearly got blown over!

Tropical Storm Nicole is now in our region and predicted to become a Cat 1 hurricane over the extreme North Western Bahamas. Fortunately, New Providence is out of the cone, so we should only get some rainy, windy weather here, although we have been told to expect tropical storm conditions.

We are praying for Abaco, Grand Bahama, and Bimini, which are predicted to have hurricane force winds by tomorrow night. Grand Bahama and Abaco suffered so much from Cat 5 Hurricane Dorian in 2019 and many of the survivors of that terrible storm haven’t recovered from it yet.
