AUTHORS MEET!



I had the pleasure on Tuesday of meeting in Starbucks, Melia Nassau Beach Resort, Cable Beach, with six established local authors for a chat about writing and publishing. Here’s a photo that appeared in today’s Tribune. As you can see from the scattering of books, along with coffee cups and goodie bags, we had a great time!

    Sounds like fun - and well done for getting some publicity for you all out of it.

      Thanks, Patsy. It really was great fun - and good publicity, as you say! Author Sherelle Wallace was coming to Nassau from Eleuthera to sell (to crafts people) the beautiful shells and other sea trinkets that she collects from the pink sands of Eleuthera, so I thought it was an opportune time to meet her for the first time and invite other writers of like minds to join us. Writers Alicia Wallace and Victoria Sarne were unfortunately unable to join us, but hopefully next time. I was so grateful to all who made themselves available. Then for icing on the cake, a security officer who happened to know one of the authors was passing by and kindly took a photo of all of us. I sent the photo to The Tribune and voila! They used it the next day.
