I’ve just started reading “The Guest Children – The Story of the British Child Evacuees Sent to Canada
During World War II” by Geoffrey Bilson. The book has been loaned to me by a
friend, now in her nineties, who was one of those children. It looks
fascinating. Can’t wait to get into it!
