Erskine spotted this soldier
crab inside an entrance to Fresh Market the other day. The hurricane must have blown
it in!
As a boy growing up on Long Island , Erskine says he used to look for soldier
crabs in the bushes and take them in a little basket to fish with them.
This soldier crab was lucky!
Erskine took it outside and found a nice bushy area, where it crawled away.
