Here’s one of the Long Island
scenes from my Romantic Suspense novel “Love at Sunset”, which is set in The
Bahamas and Scotland !
…..
“Halfway there, he stopped
the car abruptly, cursing. A small herd of goats stood in front of him. He was
about to manoeuvre his way around them, but hesitated when the leader of the
herd bolted out of the bushes, onto the track, and blocked his way. The large
ram stood, flexing his strong shoulders and shaking his sharp horns. He stared
directly at Tate for a moment and then lunged towards the car, scattering his
harem. Tate pressed the gas pedal and swerving back and forwards to avoid a
collision with the huge creature, managed to speed past it.
“He looked back as he drove
away from the herd. They stood watching him, not moving.”
About Love at Sunset:
“Facing imminent danger and
fierce opposition to love a second time around, Violet and Gordon seek a new
life thousands of miles away, but trouble soon catches up with them. The couple
finds themselves in and out of one adventure after another!
”In the meantime, an unscrupulous attorney appears on the scene, along with a crooked realtor. What they do and the extent they would go to leads to a shocking ending. Greed, jealousy, family secrets and bitter grudges worm their way throughout this story!”

A most worthy fiction read indeed and so was your collection of short stories: 'Sunbeams From The Heart'. I'm eagerly awaiting your new short story collection as well as your writer's guide.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Tanya! Your kind remarks urge me on to get the next books finished and published!
ReplyDeleteOooh, weird coincidence – I've just jotted down an idea for a story involving a small herd of goats!
